What’s going on at Mr Jones Watches?
Despite a challenging year (I mean, that's an understatement for 2020 isn't it?!) there have been some exciting things happening at Mr Jones Watches recently.
We have been working on some new projects and our little team is growing! We wanted to keep you in the loop, so here's what has been happening at Mr Jones Watches lately...
New team members!
Our talented watch assembly technician Cat, has won a scholarship to study jewellery making, so sadly she'll be leaving us soon.
Natalie who used to be our shop assistant in the Oxo Tower (who is also a talented paper artist and jewellery maker) has now transferred to the watchmaking team.
We have also had some new editions to our team, Laura, our new watch assembly technician started working with us in September.
Nell also joined the team back in June to help with general workshop tasks, customer service and packing your orders.
If you have emailed us with any queries you would have spoken to Nell!
We're also moving house (workshop)!
Last year we decided to take the leap and invest in a larger workshop space to bring the team together in one space.
We bought a shop in Forest Hill and it's currently being transformed into a big workshop.
So we're now busy organising our workshop ready for the big move. Take a look at some of the renovation work so far in the photos below.
The new workshop building used to be a convenience store so there was a lot of work to be done, but we hope to be all moved in soon.
We are also working on the reissues of A perfectly useless morning, Step Right Up and Paper Crane.
We have also been expanding our personalisation options like more watch strap choices.
On the marketing side of Mr Jones Watches, we are working on the podcast and our TikTok account.
