This watch is our response to the global covid-19 pandemic sweeping the world in spring 2020, it is a message of hope and positivity during this difficult time.

The two hands are printed with the phrase “All this will pass”, the dials are individually hand painted making each watch unique.

The case back is engraved with a quote from Winston Churchill, “If you’re going through hell, keep going”.

Crispin Jones designed the watch and explains the message and idea behind it, “We’re a small team at Mr Jones Watches and, like everyone else, our lives have been transformed over the past few weeks. We wanted to respond to this awful  situation in the only way we can - by creating a watch that expresses our feelings and especially our hope and belief in the future.

For most of us the battle at this time is with isolation and a sense of helplessness. We wanted to share a spirit of positivity and a belief that life will (in time) return to normal. I realise that this isn’t a vital contribution in the battle to overcome Coronavirus, but it is all we can do: share a message of hope during these dark times.

The dials are an expression of the chaos and unpredictability of the situation and each one is unique, while the hands are printed in one colour with the simple message. Producing this watch has challenged our ingenuity as the team is all working remotely, but we’ve all pulled together and managed to make it happen.”
