Meet our team: Laura

Meet the newest addition to our Marketing department, Laura, who joined us this month as a Digital Marketing Assistant. 

A creative thinker with a passion for all things marketing, Laura will be taking over our social media channels to make sure we ‘click’ with our followers and customers online. 

Let’s get to know her a little better! 

Tell us a bit about you…

I’m originally from Poland but have lived in the Uk for 15 years now. I made the move to Birmingham 4 years ago to work towards my degree in Marketing, Advertising and PR at Birmingham City University. 

I’m currently in my final year at university and got the chance to take a placement year as part of the course, where I worked at a publishing company to build upon my professional experience. I’m really looking forward to working at Mr Jones Watches part-time while I complete my studies! 

What do you do in your spare time?

I like to stay fit and active, so I’d definitely consider myself a bit of a gym bunny. Photography is a huge passion of mine too, so I can regularly be found snapping away in my spare time. It helps that my boyfriend is an aspiring model so I always have someone to take photos of!

I love an art gallery crawl to spark inspiration and fuel my creativity. Even better if it’s followed by lunch at a local cafe, where I can enjoy my favourite dish: eggs benedict with plenty of coffee.

 

What’s your favourite Mr Jones Watch design?

I love The Ascendent. Its intricate design and innovative way to tell the time makes it unlike any other watch I’ve seen before.
