Behind the Scenes: Black Friday 2023

Arguably the biggest Friday of the year dawned upon us last week, and boy, was it fantastic! 

 

It was all systems go at Mr Jones. From the production team working overtime making up extra stock, the marketing team whipping up social posts as if by magic, the shop team becoming decorative masters and volunteers helping pack orders to get them out to you on time.

Our production team, which consists of printing and assembly, worked their socks off to make enough stock for this weekend. Like little elves in Santa’s workshop, they worked and worked and worked. We couldn’t be more grateful for them!

 

Our marketing team also worked their magic creating such beautiful content to share with you! From Instagram to TikTok to emails, they made sure the word got around so you knew exactly when, where and how to get your deals.

Now, if you know us, you know we never miss an opportunity to decorate our shop. Which meant… YES, the return of the Dachshund balloons.

Our incredible shop team dedicated their Thursday evening to creating a magical Black Friday set up for all of you to enjoy. They must’ve worked their fingers raw with the amount of orange ribbon they tied that night!

 

We had balloons of every shape and size, custom window stickers, but most important of all… huge deals on your favourite watches!

Exclusively to the shop, we offered scratch cards where customers could win free accessories, 30% - 50% off watches and buy one get one free.

 

One lucky winner even bagged himself a free watch! 

As the weekend continued, so did our deals. We sold out of multiple watches, had a record amount of sales in our shop and overall had our most successful Black Friday to date. And that’s all down to you, our amazing customers!

 

There’s nothing we love more than getting to send watches out all over the globe to you; whether they’re gifts or just a little treat for yourself. It makes our jobs special knowing that our products can put smiles on people’s faces.
