Designed by American comics creator Ryan Claytor, Step right up is a celebration of the carnival shooting gallery.

The watch was designed to evoke a feeling of nostalgia for the world of the sideshow.

The time display is completely integrated it within the artwork: the targets that the player is aiming at, display the hours and the minutes.

Step right up is limited to just 100 pieces worldwide, with each one numbered on the case back.

The colours on the different parts of the design were each printed individually, before being hand-assembled and finished by our small team in London.

Ryan explains his inspiration for the design:

“I'm interested in gaming history, its ties with community, and understanding the minds of makers and manufacturers of the time.

Taverns, penny arcades and carnivals all have an iconic place in the annals of gaming's rich history.

In carnival shooting galleries, the player is limited to a particular amount of time to accrue the highest score based on the number of targets hit.

The rotation of the "Step Right Up" dials offer a playful take on this time-worn tradition of moving targets and finite time.”

How to read the time:

Markers on the arcade assist you in reading the time.

The quarters of the hour are marked by waves in the upper row and the petal point in the lower row points to the minute.
